Start with a quick split
For many meals, everyone is sharing roughly equally. Enter the bill total, name the splits and add people as needed. Totals update immediately.

When the detail matters
Itemise only the parts you need
If people genuinely ordered different things, switch to Itemised. Add only the categories and items that make the result fair rather than rebuilding the entire receipt.
- Use familiar categories such as Main, Dessert, Soft drink and Wine / beer.
- Add duplicate or custom rows when needed.
- Hide unused categories and restore them later.
- Tip or service is distributed proportionally across the item subtotal.
No OCR required
Receipt photos can be kept with a saved bill, but scanning and correcting every receipt line is deliberately not part of the core workflow.
